The Mayo Civic Center is the exclusive provider of both our concessions and alcohol services. Our Hospitality Service division is made up of quality industry professionals, trained in providing the best possible service. We can open concession stands for your attendees to purchase their own items or we can arrange with you to provide beverages, breakfast items, box lunches, fruit, pastries, desserts and other food and beverages ideal for hosted breakfasts, lunches or breaks. Our business clients have found that using Mayo Civic Center Hospitality Services gives them the advantage of a quick response should their needs increase while they are here.

If you’re looking for a more formal meal during your event, you will need to choose from one of our Approved Caterers. When catering at the Mayo Civic Center, these caterers are required to collect a 15% service fee on the gross catering charges. This fee is paid to the Mayo Civic Center and is used to defray expenses for cleaning, electricity, ice, refrigeration, etc.

Bar Service
All alcoholic beverages (wine, beer, champagne, liquor) must be provided by Mayo Civic Center Hospitality Services.

Application to Possess and Consume Alcoholic Beverages in Mayo Park
According to Rochester City Ordinance 45B.17 (subd2) any activity scheduled in Mayo Park allowing the possession or consumption of alcoholic beverages must first receive approval by the Rochester Board of Park Commissioners and issued a permit. Please submit the linked application to: Donna Drews, Mayo Civic Center, 30 Civic Center Drive SE, Rochester, MN 55904.

Concessions/Refreshments
Because of soft drink contracts, all caterers are required to use 
products. Soft drinks include soda, energy drinks, and bottled water. The Mayo Civic Center caterer (507-328-2172) can provide a wide variety of concessions for your event.
