Spread the Cheer: 5 Festive Holiday Shows

As the gift-giving season approaches, consider bypassing traditional gifts and buying yourself and your loved ones tickets to a Mayo Civic Center holiday event instead. There’s a scientific reason that this is a good idea: according to a 2017 study in the Journal of Consumer Research, giving the gift of a shared experience is more meaningful than giving a material gift, and gifts of experiences foster stronger relationships than material gifts.

So start a new tradition! Gather your friends and family for these five major holiday shows.
