Event Description

For 33 years, the community has helped raise over $3.5 million through the Festival of Trees! Proceeds help Hiawatha Homes further its mission to provide quality support services to people with disabilities at home and in their community.

Friday, November 23: 11am-7pm
Saturday, November 24: 11am-7pm

Special Activities
DiverseAbility Day (Friday, November 23, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.)
At the heart of the Festival of Trees is the reason for it all: supporting people with disabilities. This interactive area is designed to educated guests of all ages about disabilities. Each child will receive a free DiverseAbility Day Passport to bring to each station. Visit all stations and receive a prize!

Friday Night Dance Party (Friday, November 23, 2018 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.)
Festival of Trees is host to a fun-filled evening of dancing among the trees for people with disabilities and their friends and families. Listen to a D.J., share a holiday treat, and enjoy the company of friends. Free admittance – no reservations required.

Children’s Carnival and Crafts (Saturday, November 24, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.)
Smiles, music, and giggles! Enjoy creative crafts and carnival games. (Additional charge for some games and crafts)

Movie Night (Saturday, November 24, 2018 from 7:30 – 9:30 p.m.)
Watch a classic holiday movie, A Christmas Story, among the Christmas tree forest. (Free Admission – Donations Encouraged)

Daily Activities
Visit with Santa
From 11am-4pm you can visit Santa at the Festival of Trees. Don’t forget to bring your camera! You can also write letters to Santa and leave them in his mailbox located in Santa’s Cozy Corner.

Gift Thyme Shoppe
The Holiday Gift Boutique is a unique shop designed specifically for the Festival of Trees with over 3,000 square feet of decorating and gift ideas to delight you. Beautiful, whimsical gifts and home fashions fill the shelves. You will find treats and treasures for the young and the young at heart. Whatever the occasion, we have quality gifts sure to please everyone on your list.

Holiday Cafe 
Relax and enjoy the ambiance of the beautifully decorated trees at the Holiday Cafe. Enjoy a cup of hot cider, nibble on a festive treat, and listen to the sights and sounds of the Festival.

Little Hands Giving Tree
Friends of all sizes can feel the joy of giving. Give a donation of $1 and receive a personalized ornament. Located by Santa’s Corner.

Live Entertainment  
The wonderful sounds at the Festival of Trees are just as spectacular as the trees themselves. Each year hundreds of talented musicians and dancers fill the Exhibit Hall with the sights and sounds of the holidays. Entertainers share talents that are appreciated and enjoyed by the many Festival guests as they stroll among the beautiful trees. Accomplished artists as well as serious students who perform selections that include classical or holiday choices that enhance our holiday theme.

Tickets purchased in person incur no convenience fees.
